…and a Findow in my Window
I have previously posted There’s a Wocket in My Pocket – the short children’s book by no other than my favorite Dr. Seuss.
The book’s content talk mostly about a boy’s encounters of different and weird creatures living in his home. And example of which is “a Findow in the Window” and a “Nook Gase in my Book Case”.
According to Wiki-dear, it was orginally published in 1974 and was replublished in 1996. On the book, the summary says – “a household of unusual creatures help beginning readers recognize common ‘household’ words” – shower, chair, sink. Truly fit for Dabby now that he’s two years old!
When it was republished though, the scarier – and probably uglier – creatures were not included. Hmmm… I wonder what they looked like – the Vrug and the Burnus. This is probably where the imagination should go wild and maybe soon I can let Dabby draw some of his soon.
For now, I am trying to compile some or, maybe soon, all of Dr. Seuss books.
That will be a goal of a lifetime. Will update it here soon.
