Looking back at all the challenges faced in my 10 years of entrepreneurship, I realized it was all worth it.
Worth it because despite doing it all alone and solo for years, I only have gratitude for both my mentors, my tormentors, my team mates, my clients, my service providers, the community, and every one met on my entrepreneurship journey.
When I walked on the stage to accept my award in front of hundreds of faces, most have never been to the Philippines, I felt a sense of pride being one of the two Filipinos who were there that night. It was heart-warming.
The Bronze Medal was a testament to the journey. There in New York last November 2018, I received the 2018 Stevie Awards for Women in Business – Female Executive of the Year – Business Services – 10 or Less Employees. And was one for the books.
