Last April, I contributed an article on GMA News about how Pinoy hackers defaced some Chinese websites to show their protest and to get back at the supposedly Chinese hackers who are “bullying” Filipinos in line with the disputes over the Scarborough shoals.
With local Filipino hacktivists on the rise, it is high time for website owners and admins to think about information security and ROOTCON is one good venue to learn from the specialists.
